Desuperheaters are devices used to control/reduce the temperature and energy content of flowing gases. Mostly steam but also, for instance, hydrocarbon gases like methane, ethane, propane and butane.

 

KIEKENS-DSH has been supplying desuperheaters since the 1960s to more than 100 countries, inclusive of Malaysia., Brunei and Singapore. Generally in the form of Multi Nozzle Spray type (MNS), Quench type or their famous Ventury type. The latter with an expected maintenance free life time of 30 years.
